The vision of True Friends Of The Poor Global was conceived in the early hours of Sunday, April 15, 2018; incorporated on Tuesday, July 9, 2019, under the Nigeria Companies and Allied Matters Act; and became operational on Saturday, August 1, 2020. OUR VISION
To help a whole lot of poor people out there move from poverty to prosperity, and to lead as many as possible to Christ. To provide them wi
th the fundamental needs of life – food,
clothing, housing, education and medical assistances.
3. To equip them with the skills and support needed to earn a
living.
4. To share the good news of our Lord Jesus Christ through nos.
2 and 3 above.
5. To help build a better, happy and peaceful society for all to
live. OUR COVENANT BLESSINGS
Helping or meeting the needs of the poor around us is a command from God. God said in Deuteronomy 15:11, “For the poor will never cease from the land; therefore I command you, saying, You shall open your hand wide to your brother, to your poor and your needy, in your land”. Make no mistake, our God is a God of covenant and He is no doubt a covenant keeping God. Deuteronomy 7:9 says, “Therefore know that the LORD your God, He is God, the faithful God who keeps covenant and mercy for a thousand generations with those who love Him and keep His commandments”. Hence, by simply obeying God’s command on helping or meeting the needs of the poor in and around our communities the following twelve (12) solid rewards await us:
1. We shall enjoy God’s blessing in everything we do – in our works, businesses, careers, ministries, education, etc (Deuteronomy 15:7-10; Proverbs 22:9).
2. God honours us (1 Samuel 2:30b) because we are honouring Him (Proverbs 14:31b).
3. We shall live in abundance (Proverbs 28:27).
4. Happiness becomes our way of life (Proverbs 14:21b).
5. We shall enjoy divine deliverance in time of trouble (Psalm 41:1).
6. We shall enjoy divine protection from our enemies (Psalm 41:2).
7. We shall enjoy divine healing in all areas of our lives (Psalm 41:3; Isaiah 58:7-8).
8. God repays us for our kindness (Proverbs 19:17).
9. We shall experience divine prosperity (Isaiah 58:7-8a).
10. God answers our prayers (Isaiah 58:7-9a).
11. We lay up treasure in heaven for ourselves (Matthew 19:21; 1 Timothy 6:17-19).
12. We shall inherit the kingdom of heaven (Matthew 25:34-40). BECOME OUR COVENANT PARTNER TODAY

A. VOLUNTEER
Do you have passion for the poor? Do you really care about their well-being? If yes, then your time and talents are great assets to our mission. We reach out to the poor every first Saturday of the month from 11am - 3pm. With your time and skills we can make greater impact on a good number of the poor in and around our communities. So what are you waiting for? Volunteer to join us today. Together we can make significant, positive difference in the lives of our brothers and sisters in need. You can visit our office or reach us through any of our phone lines or via email to know more about us, our modes of operation and the variety of our programmes for the poor. IN-KIND DONATIONS
We accept food, clothing and household items (new and/or fairly used) which we do give away to the poor at no cost. A good number of us can afford three meals a day while so many people around us including children go to bed hungry every night. Most of us have items we no longer make use of in our homes for one reason or another. Such items may be useful to the poor next to you. You can feed a hungry stomach today. You can cover someone’s nakedness or change someone’s garments today. You can put a smile on someone’s face today with your donations in kind. Always remember, whatever act of kindness you extend to someone in need has a way of coming back to you in many folds (Proverbs 11:24-25, Luke 6:38). Your donations can be delivered at our office. And if you are unable to convey them to our office, you can contact us on phone or via email to come over for pick-ups. C. MONETARY DONATIONS
Money is no doubt a very major part of our mission. You can rest assured that we make the best use of all the monies received. We use 97% of all donated funds in providing food, clothing, housing, education and medical assistances, and the economic empowerment of the poor while the remaining 3% goes to logistics. You don’t have to be a millionaire to positively impact on someone’s life. Your small and sacrificial donations can make a whole lot of difference in someone’s life today.
