A survivor who turned pain into purpose, Luz founded Fundación Luz María to support women affected by domestic violence — work that led her to the United Nations, UN Women, and global advocacy for the Sustainable Development Goals.

Chosen as a UN Women Champion for Change, her mission has touched thousands of lives worldwide.
Today, as a New York–based actress and proud U.S. citizen, she continues to shine on screen while standing firmly for women’s rights, proving that healing, success, and authenticity can coexist.

Congratulations to Dr.Piya Ratna Maharajan as the winner of the great and wonderful award (Humanitarian Award),for the year 2024. He is a Social,Community Development, Humanitarian Worker and Peace builder based in Nepa.He is well recorgnized at both local and global.He had participated in many conferences such as World Economic Forum, World Humanitarian Forum, United Nations office for Disaster Risks Reduction (UNISDR),UN Women,UNWPA Nepal, Africa UN Summit and so on. He is currently serving as the International President, International Youth Society and Track Nepal an International Youth alliance with more than 121(One hundred and twenty one) countries global network, focusing on Humanitarian Relief, Social service Works at global level. He also works on SDGS Unite 2030 of UN, localization of social, economic, climate change and environmental campaigns.
