Governor Sanwo-Olu's administration, through the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources, is set to have a State Electricity Policy that will serve as a blueprint for the attainment of universal access to electricity.

IN COMMEMORATION OF THE INTERNATIONAL YOUTH DAY 2022; THEMED INTERGENERATIONAL SOLIDARITY: CREATING A WORLD FOR ALL AGES

Today is another opportunity to celebrate ourselves as youths. An age that represents appearance, vitality, freshness, vigor, high spirit and strength.

In the process of nation building, the youths plays a critical role in achieving continuous development for a nation and this is a role that is intergenerational. A role that calls for collaboration and equitable partnership.

There is a need to leverage the full potential of all age group and stop the division caused by age which mostly lead to injustice and weakens the formation of any organization.

Beyond age, let's look out for values, skillsets, passion that is able to drive development in all sectors and public services cutting across employment, health, housing, politics and governance.

A successful nation will only become possible when there is a collaboration across all generation. Total inclusiveness.

I, through my foundation, RAK development Foundation have partnered with the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) to mobilize and sensitize electorates on the need to register for their permanent voters card.

This sensitisation is hinge on helping constituents understand their rights, their political system, the contests they are being asked to decide, and how and where to vote.

For an election to be successful and democratic, voters must understand their rights and responsibilities, and must be sufficiently knowledgeable and well informed to cast ballots that are legally valid and to participate meaningfully in the voting process.

This initiative was brought to light by YAGA-Africa and tagged Power of 18.

I am very happy to be part of this process that is driving home our agenda of good governance through our consistent steps. I urge you to join me likewise by taking those steps that are required of you, so that together we can take Badagry and our nation, Nigeria to the top.

We are all yearning for a better Nigeria and we all need to get involved by active participation.

I attended the Nigerians Youths in the UK Disporia Townhall meeting which was convened by Hon. Dayo Isreal (APC National Youth Leader).

The townhall meeting was channeled towards Nigeria’s 2023 Election: Young Nigerians in Diaspora as stakeholders in the birthing of the next dispensation.

Every election is determined by the people who show up and our political leaders will know our priorities only if we tell them, again and again, and if those priorities begin to show up in the polls.

My commitment towards the growth of our society has informed my decision to partner through my foundation the initiative tagged the Power of 18 Lagos State.

This initiative I supported to encourage youths that have recently clocked 18 to Register, Collect their PVC, Vote and Engage as we prepare for the forthcoming election.

I urge you all to come out in your large numbers to register for your PVC.

I was happy to be in the midst of my people who formed the core members of my campaign team during the last primary elections of our party, the All Progressives Congress (APC).

Although I didn't emerge as the party candidate however I am glad my team caught my vision for a better representation and true governance for Badagry and we took a shot at it.

During the Ileya celebration I took the chance to gather all my team members to appreciate them and also chat a new course towards supporting all the emerged APC candidates across board.

I assure you all that my strive for a better Badagry and true governance is a continuous one.

This is me saying Thank You to everyone who supported me all through my campaign.

Last year I won Philanthropist of the year award. This time it is the NGO of the year Award for the good works I and my team are doing at the Foundation, Real Act of Kindness (RAK) Development Foundation.

I am most grateful to the organizers for recognizing and appreciating our humanitarian service to our people.

I dedicate this award to every NGO out there, putting in their time and resources to make life bearable and less burdensome for people.

I encourage everyone of you to emulate the act of giving; as the best form of living is living by raising others.

I attended the passing out ceremony of 20 badagrians at the recently concluded NSCDC (Nigeria Security and Civil Defense Corps) recruitment exercise in company of former counsellor Femi Mukaila who also facilitated the admission of a few during his Tenure as leader of the house.

I attended to encourage and show support to the young individuals who have dedicated them selves to this service which involves securing of lives and properties by placing themselves online.

My Dear Brothers and Sisters

Yes I have been silent and it was deliberate. I needed to take time off to re-asses, reflect and re- strategize.

Success is not a destination but a journey that has points of celebration and points of reflection.

Even though the campaign to get into governance ended at the primary level I appreciate all those who believed and supported in what I stand for. I also appreciate those who saw merit in my person and in the work of my foundation.

I am totally refreshed to keep going.

I have sat down and re-assessed everything and I am committed to the cause of elevating those around me from the grassroots to the highest height as I have been doing within my own pace.

I will continue with the All Progressives Congress (APC) and will put all my attention and resources towards the success of the party at all levels from local to federal.

RAK Development Foundation would equally continue to deliver projects from my personal funds and hustle.

This is who I am and what I believe in.

Your love and support - financial, emotional, and physical means a lot to me.

In the end we are all winners.

Barely 24 hours after I returned to country after a short reccess, I was been called upon to be part of the BATSO project.

BATSO means, Bola Ahmed Tinubu Sanwo-Olu project said Mr. Emmanuel Amuwo, DG BATSO

The DG, who announced me as the patron of BATSO said “Mr. Ogunlende popularly known as RAK is a passionate driven politician with innovations.”

He commended me for actively participating in the just concluded APC Primaries as one of the aspirants for the House of Representatives.

He further explained that one of the major aims of BATSO is to support the candidacy of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Mr. Babajide Sanwoolu for a progressive lagos and better Nigeria.

Responding, I said "I am not backing out of politics, we are in to change the narratives and we will do everything to support the candidature of our National Leader and APC Presidential Candidate, Senator Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the performing Governor, Mr. Babajide Olushola Sanwoolu "

I also described Asiwaju Tinubu and Governor Sanwoolu as a visionary leaders with capacity noting some of their achievements in making Lagos a leading state among others.

We will hit the ground running towards the projection of our national leader and amiable governor.

Also in an interview with Badagry Parrot News I said with the duo in government, the nation Nigeria will be a testament of positive change.

I also added that everybody must get their PVC to bring about the desired change.
