Let's share a fantastic Easter Story with you today:

As the sun rose on Easter morning, Ada woke up with a heart full of gratitude. She remembered the story of Jesus' sacrifice and the love He showed the world.

Ada decided to visit her elderly neighbor, Mrs. Okoro, who lived alone. She baked some bread, packed some eggs, and headed over.

Mrs. Okoro's eyes lit up as Ada arrived. "You've brought sunshine to my day, dear!" she exclaimed.

As they shared the bread and eggs, Ada listened to Mrs. Okoro's stories and offered a listening ear. The old woman's face glamed with joy.

Ada realized that Jesus' sacrifice wasn't just about salvation; it was about loving and caring for others. As she hugged Mrs. Okoro goodbye, she knew she'd carry that love forward.

As March comes to a close, a quiet village still wakes each day to the same reality—long walks for water, children missing school, and families depending on unsafe sources just to survive. But this story is not ending that way.

This is where the plan begins.

Called2Care Global Outreach is setting out with a clear mission: to bring clean, safe water to communities that need it most. The journey will start with listening—understanding the people, their challenges, and the exact points of need. From there, the team will move into action—identifying locations, mobilizing resources, and drilling sustainable boreholes that can serve generations.

The goal is simple but powerful:
To replace scarcity with supply.
To turn struggle into strength.
To let every child drink, learn, and thrive.

Even though World Water Day has passed, the work continues. Because access to water is not a one-day event—it is a daily necessity.

The petty traders in the market are often the unseen and unheard heroes of our society. They're the hardworking, resilient women who wake up early, work late, and pour their hearts into providing for their families. Their contributions, though often overlooked, are the backbone of our communities.

These women are mothers, daughters, and sisters who bear the weight of responsibility on their shoulders. They sacrifice their own dreams, desires, and needs for the sake of their loved ones. They're the ones who make sure there's food on the table, clothes on the children's backs, and a roof over their heads.

At Called2Care Global Outreach, we recognize the value of these incredible women. We believe their hard work and dedication deserve to be celebrated and supported. That's why every year, we reach out to the petty traders in the streets of Lagos, to show our appreciation and support for their businesses.

This Mother's Day, we took to the streets, armed with gifts, smiles, and a heart full of love. We met these amazing women, heard their stories, and shared in their struggles. We saw firsthand the resilience and determination that drives them to keep pushing, even in the face of challenges.

Over 40 hardworking petty traders received our support, from vegetable sellers to seamstresses, food vendors to hairdressers. We provided them with cash gifts, hugs and words of encouragement. The joy and gratitude on their faces were priceless.

To these unsung heroes, we say thank you! Thank you for all that you do. You are seen, you are heard, and you are valued. We celebrate you, not just on Mother's Day, but every day.
