Return to Eden 🌿

Whenever we feel tired, weary, or overwhelmed by life, let’s remember to return to God—to return to His love, His grace, His mercy, and His favor.

No matter what we face or how difficult the journey becomes, God remains our Father, our refuge, and our shield.

In February 2015, 21 Christian men were taken to a beach in Libya by ISIS militants. Twenty of them were Coptic Orthodox Christians, while the 21st man was a Ghanaian named Matthew Ayariga.

They were given a choice to deny their faith, but they chose to remain faithful to Jesus. Matthew’s story is especially powerful. When he was asked about the God of the other men, he is remembered as saying:

“Their God is my God.”

He knew what could happen, but he still chose to stand with the other believers, proclaiming Jesus is lord.

The 21 men were killed because of their faith in Christ. But their story did not die there. Their faith and courage continue to remind the world about Jesus. Today, their story reminds us that Jesus is not just someone we believe in privately. Jesus is King. Jesus is Lord. He is worthy of our faith, our love, and our bold declaration before the world. We may not face what they faced, but we can still stand for Jesus wherever we are. So today, let us make it clear to the world:

JESUS CHRIST IS KING AND LORD. 👑✝️
