Today is International Self-Care Day. The Foundation for Cancer Care celebrates with survivors, caregivers, and everyone else who could use a little rest today.💜

If you’re caring for someone with cancer, or fighting it yourself, you often put your own needs last. Today, put them first.

Rest when you need rest. Ask for help when you need help. Eat well, move your body, talk to someone who brings you peace. Your strength comes from how well you care for yourself, not from how much you sacrifice.

Today, the Foundation for Cancer Care conducted a Clinical Breast Examination and Cervical Screening Outreach at RCCG Olive Branch Parish, Province Headquarters, Banana Island.

Close to 100 beneficiaries received access to breast and cervical cancer screening services, medical consultations, and cancer education, empowering them to take charge of their health through early detection and prevention.

We are eternally grateful to our medical team from Lakeshore Cancer Centre Lakeshore Cancer Center whose commitment made this outreach a success.

Together, we continue to educate people about cancer care through awareness, prevention, and screening one community at a time 💪🏿
