Diphtheria is a highly contagious Bacterial infection

The health awareness campaign will foster preparedness measures and safeguard personal and community health

Causes
▪︎ Airborne droplets
▪︎ Use of Contaminated Personal or Household items
▪︎ Bodily contact with an infected Person

Symptoms
▪︎ Sore Throat and Hoarseness
▪︎ Swollen Glands (enlarged lymph nodes) in the Neck
▪︎ Difficulty breathing and Nasal Discharge
▪︎ Fever, Cold and Tiredness

Prevention
▪︎ Practice Personal hygiene
▪︎ Wash thoroughly and Sanitise Personal and Household items before use
