Through BCF’s Go Back To School initiative we map communities. Identify children who are out of school and, most importantly, understand why they are not in class.

Every child deserves a chance to learn. By documenting the barriers—whether financial, social, geographical, or otherwise—we can move from identifying the problem to connecting children with the support they need.

Today, Bobys Charity Foundation met with parents of our Go Back to School Scholarship children in Arowolo, Imoru, Ijebu-Ode.

We discussed about supporting the children’s education, growth, and wellbeing, as well as mothers’ business empowerment to promote sustainable homes ahead of the new academic year come late September 2026.

It was a fruitful meeting. We currently support children across Lagos state, Ogun state and Adamawa States, Nigeria, seeing them throughout primary and secondary education. We have more parent engagements coming soon. 💙📚

Throwback Moments ❤️🇨🇻
On 13 January 2023, during Cape Verde’s Democracy Day, BCF had the privilege of visiting the SOS Children’s Village in São Domingos, Santiago Island.

It was a day filled with love, laughter, mentorship, nutritious meals, and food support. The celebration became even more memorable as one of Cape Verde’s popular music artists named Raputcha entertained the children, filling the home with music, dancing, and smiles.

We left with grateful hearts and a promise to return soon. At BCF, we believe every child deserves love, care, and the opportunity to thrive.

Today, our children took part in a Tailoring Skills Workshop—one of the newest additions to our Go Back to School Initiative. 🧵✂️

Yesterday, we had another rewarding Skill Work exercise during our free after-school daily sessions! 🌱
Our children checked on the progress of the crops we planted last month and were excited to see how they’re growing.

We also added more crops to our farm. So far, we’ve planted corn, plantain, potatoes, melon, okra.
At Bobys Charity Foundation, we believe in equipping children with practical farming and crop production skills that promote self-reliance and food sustainability. Every planting season is an opportunity to learn, grow, and cultivate a brighter future.

Together, we’re nurturing not just crops, but confidence, responsibility, and lifelong skills. 🌿💚

Yesterday, we had another rewarding Skill Work exercise during our free after-school daily sessions! 🌱
