IGGAB FOUNDATION SUPPORTS SENATOR YAYI'S EDUCATIONAL VISION, DISTRIBUTES WRITING MATERIALS TO PUPILS AND FOOD ITEMS TO THE ELDERLY IN ILARO
In continuation of its commitment to supporting quality education and promoting academic excellence among pupils in public primary schools, the CEO of IGGAB FOUNDATION, Ambassador Gbenga Akinwunmi , alongside members of his team, paid a special visit to UAMC Eleja Primary School I & II, Pahayi, Ilaro, where educational writing materials were distributed to pupils of the school.
The outreach programme was organised to provide essential learning materials to the pupils in order to encourage effective learning, improve academic performance, and contribute positively to the educational development of children within the community that nurtured and shaped Ambassador Akinwunmi Gbenga during his early childhood.
Speaking during the exercise, the foundation reaffirmed its commitment to humanitarian service, community development, and educational support for younger generations, stressing the importance of investing in the future of children through access to quality education.
IGGAB FOUNDATION also declared its support for Distinguished Senator (Dr.) Solomon Olamilekan Adeola (YAYI), CON, FCA, FCTI, FFPI, Aremo of Yewaland, noting that while in the diaspora, members of the foundation consistently heard numerous positive testimonies about the Senator's impactful leadership and humanitarian interventions across Ogun West. The foundation stated that these testimonies inspired it to identify with and support the Senator's vision and mission in its own modest way.
Following the distribution of the educational materials, the team proceeded to the palace of the Baale of Pahayi, where they were warmly received. They also paid a courtesy visit to the family head and father figure of Senator YAYI, who offered prayers for Ambassador Akinwunmi Gbenga, the foundation, and members of the team. Thereafter, the team moved into the community to distribute packaged rice, beans, and garri to residents, with special attention given to elderly men and women as part of the foundation's humanitarian outreach.
Dignitaries and community stakeholders present during the programme included Pastor Emmanuel Ajibowu, Comrade Michael Odedipe, Pa Ogundimu, and members of the Pahayi Bale Family. They commended the thoughtful initiative and encouraged the foundation to sustain its support for education and community development.
At the conclusion of the exercise, a member of staff of the school expressed appreciation to Ambassador Akinwunmi Gbenga and the IGGAB FOUNDATION team for their generous gesture towards the pupils and offered prayers for greater success, divine blessings, and continued progress for the foundation and its humanitarian activities.
