When women rise, communities stabilize. When girls are empowered, generations shift.

And when men stand as allies, we help dismantle the barriers that were never meant to be there in the first place.

Sustainable development requires bold and inclusive leadership.

When we challenge stereotypes and break barriers, we create more opportunities for women and girls to participate, lead, and thrive. Expanding women’s inclusion strengthens representation and helps change the narrative for future generations.

Today, we share a Leadership Insight from Mr Adigun Temitayo, Country Denim Partner, reminding us that empowering women and girls is a responsibility for all of us—both men and women.

Together, we can build a future where women rise, lead, and thrive.

✅ Protect our child. Protect our Future - Don't wait because Polio can't

Polio is preventable but only if every child gets vaccinated. As Lagos State begins its annual polio immunisation campaign, we need YOU to make the difference.

Polio is a highly infectious disease that can cause lifelong paralysis and even death. The good news is that polio is preventable through vaccination. Every dose given to a child strengthens the fight against polio and protects entire communities from outbreaks.

Parents, please open your doors when health workers visit, Your child’s health is in your hands. Polio can strike without warning, but vaccination is the shield that keeps your child safe.

The polio vaccine is:
✔ Safe
✔ Free
✔ Effective

Every dose counts. Every child matters. Together, we can make Lagos and Nigeria polio-free!

Impact that echoes: 3 schools benefited from our project - Love, learning and legacy

Yesterday was one of those days that reminds us why we do what we do.

Our team at Wheels of Hope Rising Foundation (WHRF), in partnership with Gender Development Initiative (GenDi) ), journeyed through rough roads and remote communities in Ogun State, Nigeria not just to deliver school supplies, but to deliver hope.

We reached over 200 children across:
✅ Ansarudeen Community High School, FUNAAB
✅ OGL Community High School, Odeda
✅ Muslim High School, Camp, FUNAAB

Each child received essential learning materials, and more importantly, a message: You matter. Your dreams are valid. Your future is worth investing in.

Led by Prof. Prof. Olubunmi Ashimolowo, ED of GenDi, the day was filled with inspiration, as she spoke passionately about the power of education to transform lives.

We are deeply grateful to the incredible volunteers from GenDi who gave their time, energy, and hearts to make this possible.

At WHRF, we believe that education is a right not a privilege. And we won’t stop until every child, no matter where they live, has access to it.

💙 Let’s do this together.

Our Inspiration

About Us

Wheels of Hope Rising Foundation (WHRF), a charity organization which was setup to fill the vacuum in our society reinforced by a bitter experience that He had 17 years ago, where a 4-year-old boy died because his mother couldn’t afford N200 (less than $3 at the time) for healthcare. He grew up in the missionaries house in the rural community of Ibarapa East local government, Oyo State. His parents struggled to send his siblings and him to school and He had to hawk and engage in menial jobs to assist with providing for their family. While hawking at the hostel of a polytechnic, He met a lady called Aminat Muhammed who asked why He didn’t continue His education after secondary school, and upon telling her about his family’s financial situation, she decided to support his education to a tertiary institution.
