Day 3. Done.

3 days in Makoko with and what we're leaving with is bigger than what we came in with.

These kids came in never having touched a computer. They're leaving with digital skills, with exposure, with the knowledge that technology is not just for other people in other places. It is for them, too.

That's what quality education does when you take it seriously. That's what happens when two organisations stop making excuses about hard-to-reach communities and just go.

See what Day 2 in Makoko looked like.

Yesterday we came in. Today, they took over.
Kids in one of Lagos' most underserved communities — operating computer systems, learning digital skills, getting access to the kind of education that changes where your life can go.

This is why Tech Now Global exists. Not to talk about the digital divide — to close it. One community at a time, in partnership with people who believe the same thing.

Makoko is one of those places forgotten.
Kids here grow up on water, in wooden classrooms, in a community the system has mostly looked past. But forgotten doesn't mean finished.

Digital literacy changes what's possible. A child who understands technology doesn't just consume it they can build with it, earn from it, compete with anyone in the world with it. That's the kind of education these kids deserve, and that's exactly what we came to give them.

In partnership with , we kicked off a 3-day digital skills training right here in Makoko. Because quality education shouldn't stop at the edge of a community.

Day 2 of our Digital Literacy Training and the energy was unmatched
From interactive sessions to practical learning, participants showed real curiosity and a strong willingness to grow. It’s inspiring to see young minds becoming more confident with digital tools and discovering new possibilities for their future.

We are excited to officially announce the successful conclusion of our Digital Literacy Workshop, a powerful initiative focused on equipping young minds with essential digital skills for today’s fast-evolving world.

Through this project, young students were exposed to practical learning sessions designed to improve their confidence in technology, productivity tools, and digital engagement, empowering them with knowledge that will remain valuable for life.
