It wasn't just an evening of movies; it was an inspirational moment where film was explored as an instructional material for children and teens development - repurposing community library for national development.

We cannot develop our country and communities without developing the human capital of those living therein, especially in local communities.

In the fight against poverty, we are strengthening the learning foundations of these children, heightening their self-awareness to rise above average, become responsible citizens and empathetic leaders who equally understand sacrifice.

In the movie watched - 'Akeelah and the Bee' - our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. Thanks to our popcorn sponsor Agbaeze Samson - together we can.

A community library bridges education inequality gaps.

🚀 Every great discovery begins with curiosity. Our Science Hub Orientation introduced our young minds to a space where they can explore, experiment, and dream big. The journey of learning, innovation, and endless possibilities starts here! 🧬🔭✨.

British Prime Minister Keir Starmer has announced a forthcoming total ban on social media by children.

In Nigeria, somewhere in Ajegunle, we are giving children a better distraction through a community children's library where they are creatively engaged to become well-rounded citizens, making the most of their time afterschool.

What's democracy if we can't find the audacity to speak out. Through a book review by the kids at the library, they learn the power of communication, of speaking out, of finding the details and of critical analysis.

375 children in a day! That's our highest library visit this week. Shaping minds. Transforming Communities. Their happy space. 🥰❤️

They come to read; we weave it with surprises.🤩🤩

We didn't let May slide without a surprise show of love to our children library users as they celebrated Children's Day.

400 (four hundred) cartons of indomie noodles donated by Boaz Commodities Ltd, well-appreciated by the parents of our children library users who, till date, express gratitude from all corners of the streets.☺

Interestingly, the distribution of these noodles brought our attention to real time data on the number of children who visit the library to read in a month.

Constrained by the quantity of noodles donated, we used the attendance register for April 24th to May 27th to select beneficiaries, only to discover that 925 children visited to read within a month! Inarguably the most vibrant children's community library. (🌹🌷💐🪷 - we take our flowers🥰)

They didn't see this gesture coming and their smiles say it all. Reading is indeed magical. Thanks to Boaz Commodities Ltd. 🥰

Let's build a Nigeria where every citizen matters and every voice is heard. As a group, we choose to keep spreading hope - of a better Nigeria, better communities; and we are not just hoping, but taking actions, doing our bit for our nation.

No better way to bring this leadership conference update to a wrap than to hear from the horse's mouth cos feedback is one way we get better, even as leaders. Hear what they said.

To everyone who donated or supported in one way or the other, we hope the attached feedback encourage you to please keep on.

To the young volunteers and staff of TLCI who worked tirelessly to plan and coordinate this event, thank you for doing your bit for humanity and Nigeria. You're imperfect, but still the best team, God bless!

PS: At the conference, we got more teens sign up to join our volunteer group. That's a good proof that we made sense in the end, at a time where patriotism is at its all-time low.
