In Celebration of The International Day of the Girl Child, Uwana Foundation Visits Heart of Solution Nursery and Primary School ; Donates Pad and other items that are useful for a Girl Child

A Non Governmental Organization, Uwana Foundation visited Heart of Solution School on Saturday 11th October 2025.

The foundation which is dedicated to empowering and showing love to humanity, donated materials worth thousands of Naira. Uwana and her team of professionals spoke to over 100 young girls from Ages 5-18 years giving them important information about how to stay healthy and practicing good hygiene.
Her team also spoke on The Girl I am, The change I lead.

Handing over items, the Founder of the Foundation, Miss Effiong Bright Uwana said the visit is with a view to encourage the girls in the community as this aligns with the commitment of the foundation.

According to her,
“My heart is so full after visiting the resilient and joyful girls in Makoko for the International Day of the Girl Child. Their smiles, energy, and determination were truly inspiring. It was a humbling reminder that even in the face of incredible challenges, hope and happiness can thrive. Let's continue to empower girls everywhere to pursue their dreams, no matter their circumstances.
We will continue to support the young ones, most especially to achieve their dreams and encourage them by providing the necessary guidance, resources and support to make them standout.”
