From 2024 to 2025, Krawdwise Africa proudly partnered with TechinEdu Initiative and The Girls Techies on the TechChange Project (TCP), a youth-focused initiative aimed at expanding access to STEM education and empowering the next generation of changemakers in Lagos State.
Through the program, we directly trained 146 students from six public secondary schools across Education Districts I and IV, with around 80 young girls among the participants gaining hands-on exposure to digital skills, introductory programming, and STEM innovation. Beyond technical skills, students learned about the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and changemaking, discovering how technology and creativity can be harnessed to solve real-world problems in their communities.
The week-long, tuition-free bootcamp emphasized practical learning, teamwork, problem-solving, and mentorship, giving students the confidence and tools to explore technology as a path for personal growth and community impact.
Krawdwise Africa, alongside our partners, continues to champion youth empowerment, gender inclusion, and innovation, ensuring young Nigerians are equipped to become leaders, innovators, and agents of positive change.
We celebrate the students, volunteers, facilitators, and partners who made this possible together, we are building a generation ready to dream big, act boldly, and create lasting impact! 💡🌍
