Introduction
I give all glory and appreciation to Almighty God for His grace and mercy upon our lives, as we gather today, 6th December 2025, for the Annual General Meeting (AGM) and End-of-Year Party of OMSE.
I sincerely appreciate the leadership of Residents of OMSE, from the Board of Trustees (BOT) ably headed by Pa Salako, to the Executive Council (EXCO) led by Engr. Babatunde Faleye, for the privilege and confidence reposed in me to serve under their leadership. I pray that God grants us strength, wisdom, and good health to continue this journey of service.
Signed:
Comrade Keku Olugbenga
General Secretary, OMSE
Brief History of OMSE
OMSE is an acronym for Oshodi, Mafoluku, Shogunle, and Ewu-Tuntun Communities, which together form Oshodi-Isolo Constituency I.
Initially, the association was known as Concerned Residents of OMSE, but during registration with the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC), the official name became Residents of OMSE.
The first OMSE meeting was held on 10th October 2022, following widespread agitation over the illegal increment by PSP/LAWMA operators. After the issue was raised at the CDA and CDC levels without resolution, OMSE decided to take decisive action in defense of residents’ interests.
