Where Do Our PET Bottles Go After Use?🗑️

Every day, generates over 13,000 metric tonnes of solid waste, yet less than 10% is formally recycled.

So, what happens to the thousands of plastic bottles we use everyday?

We find them in our drainages, on our streets and waterways, contributing to flooding, pollution and serious public health risks.

We are going to LGA, Lagos largest LGA, a vibrant community of nearly 4million people, long impacted with poor plastic waste management.

As part of the Green Inheritance project, we are launching a Waste Collection Drive to turn plastic bottles into community action, innovation and long-term solutions.

247 young Nigerians who showed up, ready to learn, ready to grow, ready to level up their skills.

But this time, we could provide only 20 fully funded scholarships.

Today, we announce the 20 scholars selected for the Future-Ready Workforce Initiative. 💙

This was not an easy decision. Each application carried genuine interest and the drive to do more. We see you, and we appreciate everyone who took that step to apply.

Over the next 6 weeks, these scholars will undergo intensive, hands-on training facilitated by , gaining practical AI skills across their selected tracks:
