Happy World Menstrual Hygiene Day 2025

Today, we join the global community in breaking the silence and raising awareness about the importance of menstrual health and hygiene. Let’s stand together to ensure that every person, everywhere, has access to the products, knowledge, and support they need for a safe and dignified menstrual experience.

This year’s theme is “Together for a ” – a call to action to build a world where menstruation is recognized as a natural part of life and everyone can manage their periods safely, hygienically, and without stigma.

Let’s challenge taboos, promote education, and advocate for policies that prioritize menstrual health. Because a period should never hold anyone back!

Girls are not only courageous in the face of challenges, but hopeful for the future. Every day, they are taking action to realize a vision of a world in which all girls are protected, respected and empowered.

Together we can protect, respect and empower the girl child.

On this special occasion we celebrate every girl child out there.
We are also using this medium to task everyone to sponsor and donate a pad for the girl child.
Our basic flow kit costs 2,000naira and it would last the girl child for a year.
We would be giving the girls at the end of the month.

In a , the stigma and taboos surrounding menstruation are history. It is a world where everyone can access the products, period education and period-friendly infrastructure they need. With one message, we are louder!

The date, May 28th, symbolises the average 28-day menstrual cycle and the average duration of menstruation, which is five days, thus reinforcing the importance of the cause it champions.

It's a chance to highlight the importance of menstrual care, and raise awareness about the issues faced by those who don't have access to menstrual products.

Access to menstrual products, safe, hygienic spaces in which to use them, and the right to manage menstruation without shame or stigma, is essential for anyone who menstruates.

Five years of providing menstrual hygiene education, girls and boys empowerment.

We've provided free sanitary pads and other menstrual inputs for over 6,000 girls across locations, empowerment for over 20 boys and girls, consistent menstrual education, menstrual management and sensitization.

We'll be having the IWD outreach where we will be educating boys and girls in Ikorodu on Menstrual Health and Hygiene and also period poverty.
Our target is to reach out to over 500 girls providing them with menstrual kits.
We all know how it's a trying time and the economic situation of the country.
This is one way we could support them, as we all know "Health is wealth"
