In just a few days, 46 students have already been sponsored!

Because of the generosity of our donors, we have raised ₦68,500 towards our goal of ₦1,500,000.

When I told my mum I wanted to start advocating for people living with sickle cell disease, she was worried.
She said, "No, don't start. You will just expose yourself."
Then she added, "Wait until you have money."

But I couldn't wait.

I had lived with sickle cell disease. I knew the pain, the hospital visits, the uncertainty. If my story could help even one person, I believed it was worth telling.
A few days later, my mum came back to me with tears in her eyes.

She said, "Now I understand. You're trying to deliver people from pain."

Those words have stayed with me ever since.
That is the vision behind the Aghogho Sickle Cell Care Foundation—not just raising awareness, but helping prevent future pain through education.
