Bismillāh…

This is my first Eid without my beloved father… and the silence feels louder than celebration.

Eid used to begin with his voice, his smile, his prayers wrapping the whole house in warmth. Today, the clothes are new, the people are around… but a piece of my heart is missing.

In the path of love and surrender, I remind myself: we belong to Allah, and to Him we return. What is taken from us in this dunya is only returned to its true Owner. Yet, the soul still longs… still remembers… still aches.

Ya Allah, forgive my father, widen his grave, fill it with light, and grant him the highest مقام among the righteous. Let his good deeds continue to speak for him, and let me be a صدقة جارية for him.

To everyone celebrating with a missing piece in their heart, may Allah comfort you. This Eid, I smile… but my heart makes du’a.

Eid Mubarak, Baba. We will meet again where separation does not exist. 🤍🕊️

On this special day, I pray that Allah grants you long life in good health, endless peace in your heart, and uncountable blessings in your days. May Allah reward you for every tear you wiped, every prayer you made for your children, and every sacrifice you quietly carried for our sake.

In the Sufi path, leadership is not a throne of power, but a burden of service, humility, and remembrance of Allah. The Khalifa is a servant of the people, a guardian of the dhikr, and a keeper of the light passed from teacher to student.

We pray that Allah grants him wisdom, patience, sincerity, and strength to continue the mission of spreading peace, knowledge, love, and remembrance of Allah.

May the barakah of our noble teachers and the blessings of the path continue to illuminate this Zawiyah.

May NURU Salam remain a lighthouse of guidance for seekers.
