Congratulations, Suliyat Opeyemi AREMU!
Today, we celebrate not just an achievement, but a journey, a journey of resilience, hope, and the power of opportunity.
Suliyat comes from one of the underserved communities in Ibadan - Orita-Aperin/Adekile, yet she has risen above every challenge to shine brilliantly. Her story is a reminder of why The BakareBridge Foundation exists.
Her journey with us began in 2016, when she joined our “Bringing Class to the Class” programme designed to prepare secondary school students for WAEC, NECO, and UTME. After completing her studies at Adekile Goodwill Grammar School in 2018, she didn’t just excel, she earned The BakareBridge Foundation University Scholarship, and we proudly supported her every step of the way.
With this support, Suliyat pursued Statistics at the University of Ibadan… And as the University of Ibadan convocation unravels this year, she has graduated with FIRST CLASS HONOURS!
She also won multiple awards recognizing her outstanding performances!
This is what happens when we invest in our young people. This is why The BakareBridge Foundation exists, to identify promise, nurture potential, and empower the next generation of leaders.
To everyone who believes in our mission and supports this work… thank you.
Together, we are changing stories, one life at a time.
