When devastation strikes, God calls His people to become guardians of hope.

Remember His promise: “I will bestow on them a crown of beauty instead of ashes” (Isaiah 61:3). Through every prayer whispered, every gift shared, and every journey taken to lift another’s burden, we embody that promise.

Today, we have the privilege of carrying Christ’s light to Yelwata’s hurting families who were recently attacked by the agents of darkness leading to loss of lives and property and many wounded people in the village of Yelwata in Benue state.

The Essence Of Giving team travelled many miles to that village with foodstuff and financial support to show the people that no darkness can extinguish the love of Jesus.

Let’s stand shoulder to shoulder, give generously, and watch beauty rise from the ashes.

Remember, the beauty of life does not depend on how happy we are but on how happy others can be because of us.
