*Report of Electricity Diologue*
The Oworonshoki community convened a general meeting to address the persistent electricity issues affecting the community. The meeting, attended by representatives of various streets and Community Development Association (CDA) representatives, sought to find solutions to the electricity challenges faced by the residents.

The meeting was graced by the presence of residents of Oworonshoki community, CDA representatives, representatives from the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources, led by Engineer Hafeez Momoh, who clarified that he was attending on behalf of the Commissioner for Energy and Mineral Resources

Engineer Momoh attempted to explain the situation but faced resistance from angered community members who felt neglected. Despite this, after the meeting, some residents accompanied the Ministry of Energy team to visit the Sub-station in Oworonshoki to explore possibilities of connecting the community to the facility.

The Oworonshoki residents reached several resolutions to address their electricity concerns:
1. *Demand for Sub-station Connection:*
The community deems it immoral that neighboring communities, such as Unilag/Akoka and Sawmill/Ifako, are utilizing the Sub-station in Oworonshoki. The residents demand the installation of Oworonshoki to the Sub-station.
2. *Scheduled Rally/Protest:*
A rally/protest is scheduled for Monday, with youth representatives from each street tasked to mobilize five people across 150 streets in Oworonshoki. The point of convergence is Papa field at 7am. Residents will receive text messages outlining action plans.
3. *Media Engagement:*
At least 8 mainstream media outlets are to be engaged to cover the rally, ensuring broader visibility and advocacy for the community's cause.
4. *Improved Electricity Hours:* The residents demand that Ikeja improves the electricity supply to Oworonshoki, aiming for an average of 20 hours daily.
5. *Financial Contributions:* Residents are urged to contribute funds towards media mobilization for the Monday Rally/Protest, emphasizing collective efforts in advocating for their cause.
