REFLECTION:
My mind went to how parents especially mothers love, nurture, care and sacrifice for their children.
How they protect and hover our them like a 'mother hen'.
How they go to any length including joining occultic groups or becoming 'witches' just for the sake of their children well being.
Hmmm, it made me think, that if as mere mortals we have the capacity to care for another being the way we do, go to any length for someone who one is not guaranteed will appreciate, acknowledge or reward the labor of love over them, then why do we do what we do as parents.
Could it be the God nature in our DNA, because am sure nobody taught us to love our children aggressively as we do.
If as a man, we willingly make sacrifices for the betterment of another being who mostly take our sacrifices for granted or not even appreciate the sacrifices and might even not come to one's aid when one needs help, then why do we do what we do.
Then I remembered the scriptures in the book of Matthew 7:11a, think of it, no matter how evil a man is, he will still sacrifice for his children, that being the case, then does that mean that even in man's evil nature he still has the godly abilities in him which collaborates the scripture that says we are gods because everyman has the God DNA in him.
So if we can love selflessly like we do our children can you begin to imagine or even fathom the kind of love God has for you and I.
Imagine, what God does for us, all the sacrifices He makes, the extent He goes to to protect us, to make sure we become all He created us to be, the battles He fights on our behalf, just to make sure we fulfill our destinies.
Can you imagine how much He does for us without us appreciating, acknowledging nor understanding how far He goes to make our lives livable, bearable, productive, all because He LOVES you and I.
Am also reminded of many stories in the books of Gensis, Isiah and Ezekiel, etc, how God loved His children Israel how He fought on their side, took them through many ups and downs, gave them soft landings but at the end they turned their back on Him by going after other gods..
Just imagine as a parent how painful that would be if and when your beloved child(ren) turn his or her back on you.
Today as I reflect, I encourage you to also reflect and think on the person, the goodness, and the selflessness of God.
Think, and see if you wouldn't burst out in praises of appreciation of having God in your life.
Ha! Olorun mi, mo mo oré!🙏
Lord I say THANK YOU for all you are in my life.
May you continue to be the pillar that holds my life, may you continue tó reign supreme in my life.
I love you Lord and thank you for being my God, my father, my friend and the core of my being.
I love you, my God who is my all in all. 😍🥰❤️🩵💜💛
Have a wonderful weekend you all 🤗😘

Deuteronomy 28:1-14 NKJV
[1] “Now it shall come to pass, if you diligently obey the voice of the Lord your God, to observe carefully all His commandments which I command you today, that the Lord your God will set you high above all nations of the earth.
[2] And all these blessings shall come upon you and overtake you, because you obey the voice of the Lord your God:
[3] “Blessed shall you be in the city, and blessed shall you be in the country.
[4] “Blessed shall be the fruit of your body, the produce of your ground and the increase of your herds, the increase of your cattle and the offspring of your flocks.
[5] “Blessed shall be your basket and your kneading bowl. [6] “Blessed shall you be when you come in, and blessed shall you be when you go out.
[7] “The Lord will cause your enemies who rise against you to be defeated before your face; they shall come out against you one way and flee before you seven ways.
[8] “The Lord will command the blessing on you in your storehouses and in all to which you set your hand, and He will bless you in the land which the Lord your God is giving you. [9] “The Lord will establish you as a holy people to Himself, just as He has sworn to you, if you keep the commandments of the Lord your God and walk in His ways.
[10] Then all peoples of the earth shall see that you are called by the name of the Lord, and they shall be afraid of you.
[11] And the Lord will grant you plenty of goods, in the fruit of your body, in the increase of your livestock, and in the produce of your ground, in the land of which the Lord swore to your fathers to give you.
[12] The Lord will open to you His good treasure, the heavens, to give the rain to your land in its season, and to bless all the work of your hand. You shall lend to many nations, but you shall not borrow.
[13] And the Lord will make you the head and not the tail; you shall be above only, and not be beneath, if you heed the commandments of the Lord your God, which I command you today, and are careful to observe them.
[14] So you shall not turn aside from any of the words which I command you this day, to the right or the left, to go after other gods to serve them.

Good morning, Have a fruitful week as you obey and walk in the ways of our God 🙏
