ROOFING PROJECT FUNDRAISING. ECWA Millionaires Quarters, Lafia, started on the 9th of September 2012 as a prayer house with 29 members, mostly ORPHANS from Gidan Bege Orphanage Lafia. The Church was established primarily to provide a place of worship for the orphans because it was difficult to move the children to distant churches for worship. The church soon grew in membership as brethren residing in the neighborhood joined in worshiping with us, and there arose the urgent need to secure a bigger worship place.
Today, the church membership has grown to over 120 worshipers, mostly children and youths. These committed members internally mobilized and raised a structure that can accommodate 300 to 400 worshipers. To His Glory, the block work, fencing of the premises, and the iron work for the roof have been completed.
In its efforts, the church has raised the sum of One Million Naira Only (1M) out of the estimated Twelve Million Naira (12M) Only for the roofing sheets.
Roofing this church auditorium requires an urgent response because, the first picture of a zinc structure is where the adults is currently worshipping leaving the children and teenagers to worship in an open space which is certainly not ideal.
It is on this note that I am soliciting for a thousand naira #1,000 only from all my friends so we can start the roofing work as soon as possible before rainfall. However, you can do more as the spirit lead you.
