*OFFICIAL NOTICE OF MY WITHDRAWAL FROM CONTEST*
Dear Compatriots
Recall that in a bid towards the 2023 election, I indicated interest to contest in the primaries ahead of the general elections comes 2023. However after series of consultations and interventions by relevant stakeholders, I have decided to shelve my aspiration.
I write to withdraw my aspiration for the federal house of representative seat, representing Lafia/obi federal constituency.
This has been the hardest decision I have had to make in recent times, however, it is very necessary to do so in order to respect the resolutions of our stakeholders to ensure equity, justice, fairness and above all sanity. I believe we all cannot be elected at the same time and every election has it's peculiarities.
I sincerely regret any inconveniences caused by my decision to my supporters and well-wishers alike by not meeting their expectations for this struggle of liberation. We will always remain resolute to the growth and development of our constituency while we put our personal interest and differences aside.
I thank everyone whom since the beginning of this journey showed me love and support and I wish to appeal to you all to support whoever his agenda will bring more dividends of democracy in order to liberate ourselves and our dear constituency from the shackles of bad leadership and redundancy.
To my esteemed leaders, delegates and supporters, I appreciate you for standing with me to the moment of my withdrawal, while urging you to throw your support for your most suitable interests to move our constituency and the state further as various parties coast to victory.
Personally, I shall throw my weight and support comprehensively to whoever emerges in the process towards the success of our constituency and for the betterment of Nasarawa State.
I may have withdrawn from the contest but my vision for Nasarawa State is much alive.
