On behalf of the entire members of Youth Support Against Deforestation and Environmental Degradation, i express our gratitude on the unflinching support from youth organisations, academician, phlantropies, and comarades. Lumi Lab, Global Shapers, Youth Enlightenment and Social Justice, KASDA, Jibia Erosion Control, Danja YSADED, and many more youth organisation defied the unfavourable wether of either raining or drizzling snd attended our activity.

Prof. Sani Abdu Fari, Prof. Aliyu Kankara, Dr. Kamsluddeen Kabir, Dr. Suleiman Ismail Jibiya, Dr. Kabir Umar Musa, Dr. Yuguda Ladan, Mal. Nafiu Muhammad Musa, Barr. Mustapha Abdulmalik, Malam Muhammadu Usman Sarki, Engr. Abubakar Aminu, Engr. Muttaka Ibrahim, Sheikh Zakariyya Yunus, and many other dignitaries have demonsrated willingness in fighting the menace of climate chsnge.

Above all, our partner; Katsina State Developmen Management Board, under the leadership of its Executive Secretary have made us proud. Special appreciation to the Executive Director of the Board.

The representatives of Youth Support Against Deforestation and Environmentsl Degradation met with the leadership of Katsina State Developement Management Board today, 8th of August 2025.
A lot of issues with regards to climate change, ranging from charcoal production, deforestation, to the proactive measures on afforestation have been discussed. There has been an ongoing partnership between the organisations

2025 FREE SEEDLINGS DISTRIBUTION

On behalf of the entire members of YOUTH SUPPORT AGAINST DEFORESTATION AND ENVIRONMENTALDEGRADATION, i hereby inform the general public that 17th August, 2025 is slated to mark our annual event of free seedling distribution to the public. We therefore inform you that public and private institution, individual and communities can apply for the number of seedling they need. The procedure goes this way:

(1) Use a letterhead of the community, individual, group, company, or public institutio for the request.
(2) Write a letter to the:
CHIEF ENVIRONMENTAL OFFICER,
YOUTH SUPPORT AGAINST DEFORESTATION AND ENVIRONMENTAL DEGRADATION,
KATSINA STATE.

REQUEST FOR ######### NUMBER OF SEEDLING TO PLANT AT #########X
(3) State categorically the reason for the request of the seedling.
(4) Make it on PDF format and send to email: [email protected] or call the following numbers and submit a hard copy: 07038666637

You are to note that the application is available from today, 1st to 8th August, 2025. The maximum number of seedling to be given to individual is five, to group is fifty, to community is hundred, to public institution is one thausand, and five hundred to company.

YSADED will reply to your requst on 10th of August and notify you about the number of seedling allocated to you got. 17th of august will be the day you collect your seedling, and you take full charge of teansport fare.
