After years of being told directly and indirectly that he did not belong, Ibrahim chose to rise above doubt and believe in his story.
His journey reminds us that disability is not inability, but a powerful source of strength, perspective, and leadership.

Being deaf did not limit him, it strengthened his voice in advocating for dignity, equality, and inclusion.

Your story is a reminder to every young person, especially those living with disabilities, that you belong, your voice matters, and your dreams are valid.

The leadership and members of State of Youth KT are pleased to inform the general public that preparations are currently ongoing for the official launch of the chapter.

This development marks a new phase in our commitment to youth empowerment, leadership development, advocacy, and community driven initiatives, in alignment with the vision of the State of Youth International body.

State of Youth KT is established to serve as a platform that nurtures purposeful, responsible, and proactive youth who are ready to contribute meaningfully to sustainable development at both local and global levels.

As we prepare for this official unveiling, we call on young people, partners, stakeholders, and well-meaning individuals to stay connected and support this important movement.

📣 Official Announcement: A New Chapter Begins!

We are proud to announce that INGAWA FRIENDSHIP AWARENESS ASSOCIATION (IFAA) has officially adopted a new name and identity —
🌍 STATE OF YOUTH KT 🌍
(KT stands for Katsina Chapter)

This exciting transformation marks a new era of growth, collaboration, and global connection for our organization.

Our decision to rename from Ingawa Friendship Awareness Association to State of Youth KT is driven by our upcoming partnership and alignment with the global movement — STATE OF YOUTH, an international body dedicated to empowering young people worldwide. (The discussion is still ongoing with the state of youth country representative)

A Broader Vision: We are expanding our impact beyond local boundaries to connect with youth globally.

Global Collaboration: Through our link with the international State of Youth network, we will gain access to new resources, opportunities, and advocacy platforms.
