BEING A COMMUNIQUE ISSUED AT THE END OF THE CONVENTION OF THE CAMPUS MONITORING COMMITTEE,NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF UNIVERSITY STUDENTS( NAUS CMC) KATSINA STATE AXIS HELD ON 20th MAY,2023 AT UMARU MUSA YAR'ADUA UNIVERSITY KATSINA.

It was at exactly 4PM when the Convention of the National Association of University Students (NAUS) Katsina State Campus Monitoring Committee (CMC) started with twelves(12) Delegates from the three (3) Universities in Katsina State,3 Alqalam University Katsina from University(AUK), 5 from Umaru Musa Yar'adua University Katsina(UMYU) and 4 from Federal University Dutsin-ma(FUDMA). In attendance was also the Outgoing National President of NAUS, Comr.Mujahid Shu'aibu(Genero), The National Publicity Secretary of NAUS,the Zonal Vice president,Comr.jc Dayyabu Abu Sadiq,the NANS Zone A Coordinator. Comr.Bilal lawal Kurfi who serve as overseer with his team, Outgoing Executive led by the CMC Chairman Yusuf Salihu yusuf and the Convention Planning Committee led by the CPC Chairman Ibrahim Nasir Shaho.

STATE OF CAMPUS
On the State of the Campuses deliberations where made on the lingering students registrations increment in all federal and state own university which we seek for the federal government intervention and resolve the lingering increment in school fees charges because education is a right not a privilege.

ACCREDITATION

All the above mentioned delegates were accredited into the convention ground .

ELECTIVE CONVENTION

Only duly screened aspirants who submitted their nomination forms were allowed to contest after the congress unanimously agreed on the Exception of National Open University (Katsina State Chapter) and affiliated Colleges from participating in the convention as enshrined in the Constitution.

The following Executive were elected into the 10 positions as enshrined in Article 37, Section 40 of the Supreme NAUS Constitution and the list of the executives was called for nomination and it was nominated by Comr.Aliyu jariri a Student of Alqalam University Katsina and Seconded by Comr.Ibrahim Nasir a student of Umaru Musa Yar'adua University,Katsina State.

ONE DAY VISITATION AND CONGRATULATION ON ELECTION VICTORY AT ALQALAM UNIVERSITY KATSINA.

The above union hold early visited and congratulated leaders of the union in Alqalam university katsina on the victory of election on Tuesday 23rd may 2023.

The journey which attended by president of the union in parson of comrd.Ibrahim Kabir Jani, S.U.G President umyuk.comrd.Sanusi Hassan senior,and Comrd.Saifullahi Tanimu Danmusa diractor support and social Duties etc.

The visited was hold inline of unity of union from various university in Katsina state.

Also congrats all the aspirant who win the election in peace and obedient to rule of the union.

The president also urged the leaders in Alqalam university Katsina ; the are representing the university in state as well as national body what ever achievement or failure incounted the will beer the consequence before any one.He issue working hand in hand to evary one from various university and for achievement of university students in Katrina state in general.

The S.U.G president umyuk.Also urged to the leaders in alqalam university, what supposed to do is bringing good leaders that represent all the university students in Katsina what left is to observe achievements you will bringing to the university in Katsina state.

Earlier Yesterday, Monday May 22nd, 2023, the newly Leadership of Campus Monitoring Committee, National Association of University Students, Katsina State Axis held a familiarization meeting with the Leadership SUG of Federal University Dutsin-Ma, and Ummaru Musa Yar'adua University, Katsina respectively in a bid to thank the unions respectively for their support given to them at the convention which held on Saturday.

At the event, the SUG President's of UMYU call on the Leadership of NAUS-CMC to work hand in hand with all the university Students studying within Katsina State and diaspora. The SUG President of FUDMA ably represented by the SUG Auditor General request from the leadership of CMC to please take the students of University along in all the activities that'll be done within the stipulated period of 1 year.
The Chairman NAUS-CMC appreciate all the present members for their full support and promise not to let them down.

The closing prayer was done by the FUDMA SUG Secretary General.
