Two years ago, in a humble village nestled just a few miles from the bustling city of Kano, there lived a man who refused to see the suffering of his people. In the face of soaring prices and the suffering of the Muslim population during Ramadan, he took a stand. Though from village, his heart was bound to the greater struggle of the people.
With staunch resolve, he launched a bold operation to combat the hoarding of essential commodities, an initiative that would soon ripple through the nation. His efforts, which brought tangible relief to the people of Kano, did not go unnoticed. The Federal Government, impressed by the success of his operation urged other states to adopt similar measures. His work soon captured the attention of the global community, culminating in an interview with Al Jazeera, who praised his determination and ingenuity.
This young man, a beacon of hope and action, is none other than Barr. Muhuyi Magaji Rimingado the then chairman of Kano PCACC. His story is one of courage, compassion, and a relentless pursuit of justice for his people. Muhuyi is son of the Rimingado town whose ambition and actions resonated far beyond its borders.
