Kungiyar yaki da rashin adalci, Kare Hakkin Dan adam da bibiya a kan shugabancin nagari me suna "War Against Injustice" ta aikewa da shugaban Hukumar Karbar korafe-korafe da yaki da cin hanci da rashawa korafi a rubuce, a game da take hakkokin bil'adama da kuma musgunawa yayan kungiyar wanda Dauda Lawan mai bawa gwamna shawara a kan ma'aikatar aiyuka da kuma ita ma'aikatar aiyukan s**ayi.

CONDEMNATION AND NOTIFICATION OF PARTICIPATION IN PEACEFUL DOMENSTRATION PROTEST AGAINST THE PLAN TO INCREASE THE PRICE OF PETROLEUM OF THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT ORGANISED BY NIGERIAN LABOUR CONGRESS KANO BRANCH.

We, the executive members of this organization write to condemn the planning of the Federal Government of Nigeria of fuel price hike and join the protest against this plan organized by Nigerian Labour Congress (NLC) Kano branch on 27-1-2022.

It was a big regret that Nigeria had been identified as poverty capital of the world and lamented that the current administration has not showed any desire to change this situation.

The inflation rate in our country is one of the highest in the world so Nigeria has become a land of hardship, a land of hunger, poor diet, poor housing, low self-esteem, the unemployment level in Nigerian from the last figures is close to over 40 percent.

The proposed increase in the price of petrol, electricity and adding taxes show clearly that the Buhari administration and his Cabinets don’t care about the plight of the poor in Nigeria.

Contrary to all the promises they made, they have refused to explain why Nigerian oil cannot be refined in Nigeria as all Organisation of Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) are doing.

Thus, we are informing staff and members of this organization and also concerned citizens to join this soon storm the streets which is part of a campaign to put an end to hardship in Nigeria. We all know that Nigeria has for a long time been designated as the poverty capital of the world. There are more poor people who can not feed three square meal in a day.

This is our time to domenstrate our very much concerns about this fuel price hike.

We are calling the attention of security agencies particularly Police and DSS to give us maximum cooperation and security during this peaceful domenstration protest.

The War Against Injustice, (WAI), an NGO has called for the collaboration among stakeholders with the view of ensuring that all persons involved in the gruesome murder of innocent 5 year old Hanifa punished according to the extant laws of country.

This was contained in a statement by Comrade Khadija Hudu Abubakar, Assistant Secretary General of the Group on Saturday.

In the statement, the WAI said “We are deeply saddened with the news of Hanifa’s killing by her school proprietor Abdulmalik Muhd Tanko.”

This is an act inhuman treatment, barbaric to the highest order a human being can do to his fellow human being”

” We are comdemning this unjust and unfair killing of innocent kid and we will ensure that the perpetrator must be brought to justice quickly and face the full wrath of law.” The statement stated.

The Group urged all the stakeholders to put their hands on deck with a view to ensuring that justice is served and the killer face the consequences of his babaric action.

” May Allah gives her family and good people in the state fortitude to bear this great loss.” The statement prayed.
