On Wednesday, 21st January 2026, the Executive Director of Save Yateem Foundation, alongside selected officials of the foundation, paid a courtesy and partnership visit to the Honourable Commissioner for Humanitarian Affairs, Hon. Adamu Aliyu kibiya, at the Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Alleviation, Kano State.
The visit was aimed at strengthening institutional collaboration and fostering strategic partnerships in the delivery of humanitarian services across the state. During the meeting, both parties engaged in extensive and productive discussions on a wide range of humanitarian interventions, with particular emphasis on support for orphans, vulnerable children, widows, and underserved communities. Key areas of discussion included food assistance programs, social welfare initiatives, poverty alleviation strategies, and sustainable approaches to humanitarian development.
The leadership of Save Yateem Orphans Foundation highlighted the foundation’s ongoing programs and reaffirmed its commitment to complementing government efforts in addressing humanitarian challenges. The Honourable Commissioner, in turn, commended the foundation for its consistent dedication to humanitarian service and expressed the Ministry’s readiness to collaborate in initiatives that promote social welfare and inclusive development.
In recognition of his outstanding contributions to humanitarian service, social development, and poverty alleviation, Save Yateem Orphans Foundation formally presented an Award of Excellence to Hon. Adamu Aliyu kibiya. The award was conferred in acknowledgment of his exemplary humanitarian leadership, commitment to vulnerable populations, and positive social impact within Kano State and beyond.
The visit concluded on a cordial note, with both parties expressing optimism about future collaborations and a shared resolve to intensify efforts toward improving the lives of the most vulnerable members of society.
