Kano State Ministry of environment and Climate change in collaboration with Partnership for Agile Government and Climate Engagement (PACE) conducted a 2 Day Technical drafting progaram for Development of Kano State Ckimate change Bill.

The Executive Director Africa Media and Information Technology Initiative (AfriMITI) was in attendance for this historic event. The Importance of Climate Action mitigation measure can not be over emphasized hence the need for a law to ensure that Kano State is protected from the effect of climate change. Hence the need for stakeholders enagagement for the development of the bill.

This is a glittering sign of commitment from the Government, NGOs, CSO, MDAs and other stakeholders to ensuring that we have a Kano State free of climate change effect.
