As part of efforts to strengthen multi sectoral collaboration on GBV, CELOHA Nigeria participated in a strategic engagement with the Population Media Center (PMC), AREWA24, FIDA Kano, and the Young Men’s Network for Ending Sexual and Gender-Based Violence (GBV).

The meeting resulted in consensus to advance GBV prevention and response through three key pillars:- Media advocacy through drama and entertainment-education to shift harmful social norms.

And, strengthening survivor-centered GBV referral pathways to improve access to legal, medical, and psychosocial services, and.

Also, mobilizing communities through the establishment of a Community of Practice to enhance coordination, knowledge sharing, and local ownership.

Partners reaffirmed their commitment to joint programming and sustained collaboration to scale impact across Northern Nigeria.
