We are proud to announce the successful delivery of our joint school outreach held on Tuesday, October 15th, 2025, at Government Girls Secondary School, Hotoro South, Kano — commemorating World Mental Health Day and the International Day of the Girl Child. 💚
The event, themed “Building Healthy Minds, Empowering Young Girls,” introduced students to the importance of mental health, emotional wellbeing, and gender awareness.
Our guest speakers — Dr. Tijjani (Retired Psychiatric Nurse), Barr. Nura Ahmad Muhammad (Executive Director, Mufarka Youth Development Initiative), and Safiyya (Global Peace Development Initiative) — shared inspiring talks on mental health, gender-based violence, and the value of girl-child education.
Students engaged actively, asked thoughtful questions, and learned how to seek help, support one another, and challenge stigma. 🌱
