On this World Day Against Trafficking in Persons, CSOnetMADE reaffirms its commitment to promoting safe, orderly, and regular migration while combating all forms of human trafficking and exploitation.
Human trafficking thrives where vulnerability, misinformation, and limited opportunities exist. Through collaboration, awareness, rights-based policies, and strengthened migration governance, we can protect those at risk, support survivors, and dismantle trafficking networks.
Together, let us build migration systems that put people, protection, and dignity first.
Migration should be a choice not a pathway to exploitation.

Friends of the Community Organization-FOCO conducted at Rangaza PHC UNGOGO LGA sensitization and Focus group discussion to KSCHMA BHCPF beneficiaries / enrollees on accessing Free Healthcare services to Pregnant women, children of under-5, physically challenge children, older people and to the very poor family.

Happy World Menstrual Hygiene Day!

On 28th May 2026, Friends of the Community Organization-FOCO joined the global community to break the silence, end stigma, and promote good menstrual health and hygiene for every girl and woman.

At Friends of the Community Organization-FOCO we believe that menstruation is not a taboo—it is a normal part of life and a sign of health. Every girl deserves access to safe menstrual products, clean water, private sanitation facilities, and accurate information to manage her period with dignity.

We call on families, schools, communities, and policymakers to work together to ensure no girl misses school, feels ashamed, or faces health risks because of her period. When we invest in menstrual hygiene, we invest in education, health, and gender equality.

Let’s keep talking, keep educating, and keep acting—because period dignity is a right, not a privilege.

FOCO partner with the Board to improve Healthcare service delivery, Accountability and support to reduce maternal and child mortality in Kano state and also to promote Community patronage and support.
