US and other western imperialists have been weaponizing Dollar for decades now. That is changing now, with global powers such as Russia, China, Iran and others trying day and night to move the world away from western imperialism. And that includes taking down Dollar out of global supremacy.
Africa, being very weak, and yet the main center where the west get its resources or stolen to be precise. Now Africans are realizing they have the potential to grow and compete with the world powers. That's why they're taking down liberal capitalism and embrace and follow the progressive leaders of Senegal, Niger, Mali, Burkina Faso and South Africa.

Karl Marx (1818 – 1883) was the German philosopher and radical socialist whose Communist Manifesto and Das Kapital formed the basis of Marxism, and revolutionized the world for better and for worse. Born in Prussia, he experimented with sociopolitical theories in university, and by the 1840s had become a radical journalist. His writings were viewed as dangerous by the authorities. In the span of a few years he was expelled from Germany, France, Belgium, then Germany again, before he found refuge in London. There, he settled and lived for the remainder of his life.

Marx received a doctorate in 1841, but his politics kept him from getting a teaching job, so he took to journalism. He founded a correspondence committee to link European socialists. That inspired English socialists to form the Communist League, and ask Marx and Engels to write a platform for their party. The result was the Communist Manifesto, published in 1848. Shortly thereafter, Marx was expelled from Belgium. He went back to France, which also expelled him. He returned to Prussia, but by then he had been stripped of his citizenship, and the authorities refused to re-naturalize him. So he ended up in London in 1849. On his deathbed in 1883, as he lay expiring from pleurisy (or acute bronchitis), he was solicited for last words. He replied with his last breath: “Go on! Get Out! Last words are for fools who haven’t said enough!”

𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐓𝐚𝐱 𝐏𝐨𝐞𝐦

Tax his land, tax his wage,
Tax his bed in which he lays.
Tax his tractor, tax his mule,
Teach him taxes is the rule.
Tax his cow, tax his goat,
Tax his pants, tax his coat.
Tax his ties, tax his shirts,
Tax his work, tax his dirt.

Tax his chew, tax his smoke,
Teach him taxes are no joke.
Tax his car, tax his grass,
Tax the roads he must pass.

Tax his food, tax his drink,
Tax him if he tries to think.
Tax his sodas, tax his beers,
If he cries, tax his tears.

Tax his bills, tax his gas,
Tax his notes, tax his cash.
Tax him good and let him know
That after taxes, he has no dough.

If he hollers, tax him more,
Tax him until he’s good and sore.
Tax his coffin, tax his grave,
Tax the sod in which he lays.

Put these words upon his tomb,
“Taxes drove me to my doom!”
And when he’s gone, we won’t relax,
We’ll still be after the inheritance tax.

The upright men. We must understand that, Evey organization or nation that gives you loan, and expect huge interest at the expense of your economy, is not a friend. IMF, West and some Arabs, are not your friends, they've never been. They only want to exploit your resources, of which is your mind. They want to enslave and colonize your mind and economy.
Beware of foreign aids from the West or East. Get up, stand up, and plough up your lands and feed yourselves. Educate your children with philosophy, science and art. Protect your health and build industries. That's the only way your voice will matters at the table (UN) or any other bloc of a sort.

You can judge Joseph Stalin for his brutality and dictatorship, but you can't deny deny his revolutionary ideas. Read his ideas before you chastise him. He made USSR Pictures great. He says:

"...if development proceeds by way of the disclosure of internal contradictions, by way of collisions between opposite forces on the basis of these contradictions and so as to overcome these contradictions, then it is clear that the class struggle of the proletariat is a quite natural and inevitable phenomenon.
Hence we must not cover up the contradictions of the capitalist system, but disclose and unravel them; we must not try to check the class struggle but carry it to its conclusion.
Hence, in order not to err in policy, one must pursue an uncompromising proletarian class policy, not a reformist policy of harmony of the interests of the proletariat and the bourgeoisie, not a compromisers’ policy of “the growing of capitalism into Socialism..."

*Kenya: A look back at the doctors' strike*

Paul Martial

Committed to a policy of austerity, the new Kenyan authorities were forced to sit at the negotiating table following a strike by medical workers lasting almost two months with medical staff.

Started on March 15, the doctors' strike, called by the KMPDU union (Kenyan Medical Practitioners, Pharmacists, and Dentists Union), has just ended, following an agreement reached with the Ministry of Health.

_Debt versus health_

The strikers' demands covered several points. Compliance with collective agreements, because the Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA) signed in 2017 and its 2021 memorandum of understanding have never been applied, working conditions, the assignment of trainee doctors (registered doctors in Nigeria) and the refusal of the reduction in their salaries decided by the authorities. However, as Muinde Nthusi, president of the Kenya Medical, Dental and Pharmacy Trainees Liaison Committee, points out, these trainee doctors represent 70% of the workforce in public establishments.

These demands are part of a broader popular protest movement against the austerity policy that William Ruto, the president elected in September 2022, is trying to apply.

He was elected on a populist basis and also likes to be noted for his positions in defense of the Global South. But the reality of his policy in the country is quite different. To remedy Kenya's debt, Ruto has reached an agreement with the IMF and is strictly applying its recommendations which use the old recipes of structural adjustment policies.

The argument of lack of money to justify the policy of social regression against health workers is undermined by the government's choices to repay the interest on a colossal debt which amounts to more than 65 billion at all costs. of dollars.

_Repressive and corrupt_

Before the Nairobi High Court ordered the authorities to negotiate, William Ruto's response to the demands of health workers, apart from contempt by declaring that staff must learn to live within their means, remained repression. Thus the union leader, Doctor Davji Bhimji Attellah, was seriously injured by a bullet in the head shot by the police during a rally. Nearly a hundred doctors were fired. Ruto is familiar with the facts. During demonstrations against his austerity policy, repression caused several deaths and hundreds of arrests.

Kenya's anti-corruption commission has ranked the health commission second only to the ministry of health for its "unethical conduct". One example, among others, is the embezzlement of more than $17 million in the fight against Covid.

_The agreement_

If, according to the statements of KMPDU Secretary Attellah: "the very controversial issue of the secondment and remuneration of trainee doctors is still not resolved" since the matter is now left in the hands of the courts, progress has been made on working and training conditions, the payment of salary arrears resulting from the application of the 2017 CBA and the lifting of all sanctions linked to the conflict.

The results of this strike have a double positive effect showing that it is possible to force the government to negotiate and that austerity policies are not inevitable as long as the path of struggle is taken.

_African Marxist Society appreciate your struggles. The Kenyan health workers are really revolutionaries, and other workers should learn from them.
