One message has consistently stood out from our conversations with individuals, families, and those working in the recovery space: recovery services need to be affordable, sustainable, and accessible to the people who need them.
We recognise and appreciate the work being done by government, organisations, and professionals to strengthen recovery support in Nigeria. At the same time, our conversations continue to highlight the need for quality recovery services that are affordable and accessible to individuals and families.
At Life Challenge Nigeria, we have been working towards developing an innovative, context-relevant, faith-based approach to recovery support in Nigeria, with the aim of making quality services more accessible to individuals and families affected by addiction, supporting sustained recovery and reducing the risk of relapse.
Today, that work took another step forward as we welcomed a new member to our team.
We are grateful to have someone with the experience and commitment to contribute to this important work, and we look forward to the value they will bring.
We are glad to have them on board. There is work to do, and we are ready to get on with it.
