Saddened by the tragic trailer accident in Barnawa that claimed innocent lives. My thoughts and prayers are with the victims, their families, and everyone affected by this devastating incident. May God grant comfort to the bereaved and speedy recovery to the injured.

MenstrualHygieneDay

29/05/2026

To every donor, supporter, volunteer, and everyone who contributed in one way or another to our Menstrual Hygiene Day outreach thank you.

Because of your kindness and support, we were able to reach young girls with menstrual hygiene education, personal hygiene awareness, encouragement, and care. Your contributions helped us make an impact that goes beyond just one day.

Thank you for believing in the vision, showing up for these girls, and helping us create meaningful change in our community. We are truly grateful for your generosity, support, and commitment to making a difference.

Together, we are breaking stigma, spreading awareness, and empowering the next generation. đź’ś

Every year on May 28th, the world commemorates Menstrual Hygiene Day a global movement dedicated to breaking the silence, stigma, and inequalities surrounding menstruation while promoting menstrual health, dignity, and access to sanitary care for girls and women worldwide.

This global campaign also supports the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) established by the United Nations, particularly SDG 3 (Good Health and Well-being), SDG 4 (Quality Education), SDG 5 (Gender Equality), and SDG 10 (Reduced Inequalities).

In line with SAEI Foundation’s Second Quarter Programme, we are leveraging this opportunity to launch our upcoming “Pad A Girl” outreach, aimed at supporting 200 underprivileged secondary school girls with sanitary pads, menstrual hygiene education, sensitization, and confidence-building support.

Sadly, many girls still miss school or suffer in silence because they cannot afford proper sanitary products. Through this intervention, SAEI Foundation hopes to restore dignity, promote healthy menstrual practices, and help keep girls in school.

We are also calling on members of the public, partners, friends, and well meaning individuals to key into this impactful initiative by supporting us to “Pad A Girl.” No contribution is too small every support received will go a long way in giving hope, confidence, and dignity to a girl in need. 💖

Together, we can break the stigma, fight period poverty, and build a future where no girl is left behind.

🚨 END EARLY MARRIAGE, EMPOWER THE GIRL CHILD
A girl is not ready for marriage simply because she has reached a certain age. She is ready when she has been allowed to learn, grow, dream, and discover her own voice.
Early marriage may look like one decision, but its impact can last a lifetime. It can cut short education, limit opportunities, increase health risks, and continue cycles of poverty.
🌱 Every community has the power to change this story:
👨‍👩‍👧 Parents: Choose education over pressure. Protect her future.
🕌 Religious & Traditional Leaders: Preserve values while defending the rights of the child.
🏫 Schools: Stay safe spaces where girls can learn, grow, and dream.
đź’Ľ Communities: Replace silence with support and pressure with opportunity.
An educated girl does not only uplift herself—she strengthens her home, empowers her community, and shapes the next generation.
This is not about rejecting culture.
It is about protecting the future inside it.
🇳🇬 Protect a girl today. Build a stronger Nigeria tomorrow.
