The Shunammite Woman

📖 2 Kings 4:8-37

Sometimes life will hit you in places you never expected.

Sometimes things won’t go according to plan.

Sometimes you’ll feel like you’ve lost something important—a dream, an opportunity, a friendship, your confidence, or even hope itself.

The Shunammite woman teaches us that faith doesn’t mean pretending pain doesn’t exist.

Faith means refusing to let pain have the final say.

She got up and went after her answer.

And maybe that’s the word for a girl reading this today:

Don’t stop because things got difficult.

Don’t quit because the first plan failed.

Don’t bury your dreams because life disappointed you.

Get up.

Keep moving.

Keep believing.

Keep trusting God.

Because your story is not over yet.

But the One who created you did not create you to shrink, hide, or live beneath your potential.

You were created on purpose, for a purpose.

This Sunday, may you find the courage to trust God with your gifts, your voice, and your journey.

The world may not see it yet, but God knows exactly who He created you to be.
