UPDATE: Incident in Isanlu (Omowa Mopo Axis)

Following several inquiries received this evening regarding the security situation in Isanlu, we wish to clarify the following:

This evening, gunshots were reported around the Omowa Mopo area.

The situation involved an armed robbery incident targeting a gold trader of Hausa origin.

The victim was traced and attacked. While he sustained gunshot wounds and was robbed of his money, he was not kidnapped.

The attackers escaped through the Agric area of Omowa.

His Royal Majesty (Kabiyesi) is currently on-site, and we can confirm that the area is now calm and under control.

We urge all residents to remain vigilant and report any suspicious movements to local authorities. Let us continue to support one another in unity and peace.
