Text : 2 Corinthians 3 : 18
But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as by the Spirit of the Lord.
The Holy Spirit has two primary assignments on earth :
First, to glorify Jesus. The greatest assignment that the Holy Spirit has is to glorify Jesus and to glorify God the Father.
The LORD Jesus, speaking about the Holy Spirit, said when He comes to the earth, He will glorify Him (Jesus ).
John 16:14
He will glorify Me, for He will take of what is Mine and declare [it] to you.
Hence, everything that the Holy Spirit does or initiates glorifies Jesus, and anything that glorifies Jesus activates the ministry of the Holy Spirit.
Secondly, the Holy Spirit is on earth to beautify our lives, to make our lives become better by making our lives become more and more like that of Jesus Christ.
The Holy Spirit transforms us from glory to glory as we become more and more like Christ.
Our text scripture for today says that we are transformed from glory to glory even as by the Spirit of the LORD.
Therefore, the more you yield to the Holy Spirit, the more you cooperate with the Holy Spirit, the more you listen to the Holy Spirit and follow Him, the more beautiful your life becomes.
The secret to a beautiful life is developing a greater intimacy with the Holy Spirit.
Learn to listen to the Holy Spirit. Learn to yield to Him and cooperate with Him maximumly. As you do these habitually, you will see the beauty of heaven in your life.
