We have seen the important message from Senewo James Femi (King James TV) regarding the state of talent support in Òkunland.

He spoke boldly about how our talented young content creators, musicians and cultural ambassadors often struggle without meaningful support from those who have the capacity to help.
Instead of encouragement, many face mockery or indifference.

Òkun Reporters stands fully with this call.

It’s disheartening when our own talented sons and daughters are left to fight alone in showcasing the beauty of Okun culture and building their dreams.

✅ To every Okun content creator, musician, actor and artist:
Do not be discouraged. Keep honing your craft. Your voice matters. Your talent is valid.
But also, as King James TV advised — do not sit and wait. Create, collaborate and push forward even when support is slow to come.

✅ To Okun people in positions of influence, financially able, or with platforms:

This is a wake-up call.
Our cultural future lies in the hands of these talented youth. Sponsorship, mentorship, promotion and investment in their talents are investments in Òkun’s pride and legacy.
