In commemoration of World Menstrual Hygiene Day 2024 ( ), Fempawaafrica hosted an outreach event at Government Secondary School, Bwari-Kuduru, partnering with Hriscare International Foundation.

The founder of Fempawaafrica delivered a remarkable speech on the importance of clean hygiene, what to do when you are on your period, and even taught the girls about counting their menstrual cycles and Aolot (possibly a menstrual product or practice).

The session went beyond education – it was empowering! Pads were shared, and the day included a fun and interactive session where the girls learned how to make reusable pads and practice maintaining hygiene when using them. This valuable knowledge equips them to manage their periods with dignity and confidence.

Lastly, Hriscare International Foundation would like to thank Fempawaafrica for allowing us to be part of this impactful event. We look forward to doing more remarkable events with the organization!
