In the month of November, Kathy Life Builder Foundation, Jos, Plateau State, joined the global community in raising awareness about sickle cell disorder (SCD)βa genetic blood disorder that affects millions of people, especially in Africa.
Sickle cell disorder is not just a medical condition; it is a public health and social challenge that requires early diagnosis, proper healthcare, education, and community support. Through awareness, advocacy, and health education, we can reduce stigma, promote early testing, and improve the quality of life of those living with the condition.
At Kathy Life Builder Foundation, we remain committed to promoting good health and well-being (SDG 3) by supporting health education initiatives and encouraging informed health choices. Together, we can build healthier communities through knowledge, compassion, and collective action.
Let us continue to spread awareness, support affected individuals and families, and advocate for accessible healthcare for all.
Together, we can save lives and build hope.
