Aims and Objectives
*To raise awareness on the rights and needs of deaf people through media publications, workshops, and seminars.
*To ensure that the rights and freedoms of deaf people are duly acknowledged and respected and in cases contrary to this secure adequate representation for legal action.
*To encourage and contribute to the promotion for a full integration of deaf people into the loc
al and foreign labor markets.
*To advocate for, and/or aid in the establishment of worthy educational standards for deaf people.
*To aid in the provision of healthcare services for deaf people.
*To aid deaf people in seeking/acquiring employment and/or vocational rehabilitation that will ensure economic security productivity and a more gratifying quality of life.
*To help in the right against the social vulnerability of deaf people aimed at fast-tracking the elimination of discrimination against them in modern society.
*To act as pivotal part of a support-network for deaf people by liaising with other private establishments, government agencies, individuals and the international deaf community to confront all matters concerning their welfare.
*To act as a platform of unity and communication between deaf people locally and internationally.
