In a heartwarming show of commitment to humanitarian service, the Rhythm of Compassion Network (R.O.C NETWORK) paid a courtesy call to the Management of Jos University Teaching Hospital (JUTH) and the JUTH League of Friends to propose a strategic partnership aimed at supporting indigent patients through creative and artistic initiatives.

The Rhythm of Compassion Network, a dynamic collaboration of creative professionals, is committed to using music, arts, media, and advocacy to raise funds and awareness for underprivileged patients and communities. The team presented their vision to JUTH management and League of Friends, unveiling plans for a benefit concert scheduled to take place in October 2025, aimed specifically at raising support for indigent patients within the hospital.

During the meeting, the group proposed the use of the College of Medicine Auditorium Jos University Teaching Hospital as the venue for the event, citing its suitability and existing infrastructure. In addition to the concert, the group outlined a series of pre-event activities, including: A blood donation drive, Health advocacy campaigns, Pampering sessions for recuperating patients- such as free haircuts, manicures, and pedicures. The production of a charity music album featuring renowned musicians, with proceeds dedicated to supporting JUTHโ€™s indigent patient fund.

The group assured the management that all proceeds from the benefit concert will remitted to the League of Friends of Juth. Speaking on behalf of the conveners, Mr. Emmanuel Mabitine emphasized the groupโ€™s passion to create real, lasting change. โ€œWe believe that compassion can be expressed through creativity,โ€ he said. โ€œFrom the stage to the bedside, our art is a tool for healing, advocacy, and transformation.โ€
This collaboration which has on board great and notable musical arts like MI Jude Abaga, Dave Azi, Emmanuel Yepwi, Rev. Rinji Kwashi, John Ishaku Mantu, Emmanuel Mabitine, Adu Deme, Jeremiah Gyang, Debbie Ajitse Maren and many notable music and creative arts holds the commitment of not only raising much-needed funds but also bringing smiles, hope, and healing to patients who need it most.

The Rhythm of Compassion Network conveners present at the visit included: Engr. Emmanuel Yepwi, Hon.Jiritmwa Goyit. The Management of JUTH and the League of Friends warmly received the proposal, commending the networkโ€™s innovative approach to humanitarian service and expressing eagerness to partner on the project. The Chief Medical Director Dr. Pokop Bupwatda also emphasized on the need to develop a robust Trust Fund that will cater for the needs of the indigent patients under the care of Jos University Teaching Hospital.
