📚✨ Empowering Our TVET Trainees for Success!

Today, our TVET trainees had an important engagement with the assessment team, who took time to educate and guide them on the assessment process, how to properly fill their assessment forms, and the importance of taking their training seriously.

Beyond learning a skill, TVET is about building competence, discipline, and preparing for a successful future.

This day was marked by an engaging discourse, it was encouraging to see youths, men and women from different communities and religious backgrounds.
The resolve was spectacular, the zeal to have a peaceful Plateau was encouraging. Kudos to the Plateau Peace Building Agency for this remarkable step for a sustainable peaceful Plateau.

Emotional Strength

The “strong” one is usually the most ignored.

Everyone calls them when they need help.
Everyone depends on them.

But nobody asks them one simple question:

“How are YOU doing?”

I once noticed someone like that go completely quiet after helping everyone else.

No complaints.
No attention.
Just silence.

That silence carries a lot.

We are raising people to be strong for others…
but not teaching them how to be supported.

Strength should not mean emotional neglect.

Check on the strong ones.
They need it more than they show.

Let’s do better.

Our world is experiencing unprecedented weather patterns, with record-breaking heat and intense sunlight. This is December 30th, 2025. Residents of Jos, Plateau State will attest that the prevailing weather conditions are unusual. Growing up, I had mixed emotions as my festive Christmas attire would be concealed by a sweater and my carefully styled hair covered by a cap. I assure you that this was not a concern for children this time around, as it was unusually hot, with temperatures reaching up to 32°C in December, which is unprecedented. How can we address this issue? Hopefully, the rainy season will arrive soon, and planting at least two trees can enhance the water cycle and mitigate desertification. We will provide updates on tree management post-rainy season. Let us initiate the process of identifying locations and collaborate to improve our environment.
