Rejoice Shammah Initiative - RSI has remained committed to supporting teenagers through safe conversations, mentorship, outreach, learning support and community impact.

Today,
we are building bigger, reaching further and creating more intentional spaces for teenagers to grow, learn and make better decisions for their future.

From school outreaches to learning support programmes, every initiative is driven by one goal: raising aware, confident and intentional teenagers.

There are seasons to move,
And there are seasons to build.

At RSI, we understand that if we are going to carry the responsibility of walking with teenagers and children this year, we must first strengthen what carries us.

We must examine our systems,
We must question our assumptions,
We must refine our structures,
We must confront the gaps.

Because our PRESS ON year will not be sustained by emotion,
It is sustained by discipline, clarity and accountability.

This year at RSI is about stronger foundations, clearer processes and deeper impact,
We are building what will outlive us.

As an organisation,
RSI understands that serving vulnerable communities requires reflection and strategy.
So during the in-house retreat with Word Food Fellowship - WFF
our team joined to pause, evaluate and strengthen our internal systems ahead of a very focused year.

We asked ourselves important questions:
Are our structures strong enough to carry the vision for 2026?
Are we building sustainably?
Are we preparing well for the teenagers and children we are committing to walk with this year?

This season at RSI is about strengthening foundations so that every outreach, every mentoring session is intentionally executed.

We are building capacity,

Rejoice Shammah Initiative - RSI stepped away for something important.

We joined an in-house retreat with Word Food Fellowship - WFF to strengthen our operations and sharpen our focus for the year ahead.

At Rejoice Shammah Initiative,
we believe passion is powerful, but passion without structure cannot sustain impact.

As we commit to walking intentionally with teenagers and children this year, we are choosing to build with clarity, systems, accountability and long-term vision.

Because our work deserves excellence,
our teens and children deserve consistency,
Because impact must be intentional.

This season is about strengthening the foundation so that everything we build from our teen sessions to the RSI Care Bank is sustainable and transformative.

2026 is a focused, deliberate and impact driven year for us.

We celebrate our Founder, Rejoice Shammah, who has been recognised as Employee of the Year 2025 for her work as an On-Air Personality at Silverbird Communications Limited, Jos.

This recognition speaks to a life of discipline, consistency and dedication. It reminds us that excellence and faith are not separate paths, when we show up fully, serve diligently and remain anchored in God, He amplifies our efforts in ways we cannot even imagine.

At RSI,
We see this as a reflection of what happens when purpose meets commitment, It is proof that we can thrive in our careers, honour God in our craft and still carry His fire into every space we occupy.

2025,
We resumed fully our activities at Rejoice Shammah Initiative after taking a short break to restrategise and figure out what the needs of our target group - teenagers are and how to better address it.

We organised and hosted free Jamb classes for a month and we hosted the Girls Giggles and Cupcakes outreach, alongside the Boys Bond Brotherhood outreach.

We reconnected with teens and we had a clearer picture of their needs and how to support them fully.

This year,
We PRESS ON
It is the first time we are having a theme for the year at Rejoice Shammah Initiative

We are excited because we understand the "Why"

Press On is a call to us to continue and be more intentional with what we started last year.

Press On is a call to push through difficulty and serve the 100 children/teenagers that we will be working with throughout the year.

This year,
We will stretch ourselves more
We will do more,
We will give more,
We will make more IMPACT

Poverty may limit opportunities, but it should never define destiny.
Every teen no matter where they come from deserves a safe place to grow, to dream and to be guided into the fullness of who God has created them to be.

That’s why we show up.
We bring love where there’s loneliness, mentorship where there’s confusion, and hope where there’s despair. Because we believe that the next world changers can rise from the very places people overlook.

This is the heartbeat of Girls, Giggles, Cupcakes and Boys, Bond, Brotherhood: raising a generation of teens who know they are not forgotten, but chosen, seen, and loved.

Every teen carries a story,
Some written in pain, some in silence, and some in dreams they don’t yet believe they can reach. Too many walk through life feeling unseen, unheard, and unloved.

But God has called us to rewrite those stories.
Through Girls, Giggles, Cupcakes and Boys, Bond, Brotherhood, we are creating spaces where brokenness meets healing, where silence turns into laughter, and where forgotten dreams are revived.

That’s why with Girls, Giggles, Cupcakes and Boys, Bond, Brotherhood, we are creating more than just events — we are shaping tribes where teens from vulnerable homes find identity, confidence, and purpose.

We are not just reaching teens for a day, we are planting roots for a lifetime.
Because every teen deserves to know: You belong. You are seen. You are loved.
