Teenagers are being shaped daily by what they see, who they listen to, what they are exposed to, the opportunities they have or or do not have the people who take time to teach them, the environments they grow up in, etc.

This is why we host BE MY PADDI,
TO create experiences that expand their thinking, expose them to possibilities and practical support when they need it, spaces where they can discover that there is more to life than what they currently see around them.

Rejoice Shammah Initiative is building for the generation that is coming and we would love to have you build a safe community for every teenager.

It takes a village to raise a generation.

RSI needs Mentors who are willing to give their time,
Professionals who are willing to share what they know,
Volunteers who are willing to serve,
Partners to join us in creating a healthy teen community,
Donors who support and make running this community easier,
And people who believe that teenagers are worth investing in.

Because when you support RSI, you are not just supporting an outreach or paying for books, pads or a programme.
You are helping us to create opportunities for growth, before the world tells them their circumstances are all they can become.
You are investing in the teenager who will become a professional, entrepreneur, leader and community builder tomorrow.

And perhaps years from now, when we look back at the people whose lives were changed through this work, we will realise that the most important thing we gave a teenager was not a material thing at all,
It was a community that believed they were worth showing up for.

That is the RSI we are building
And there is room for you in it.

Teenagers are growing up in a world that is louder, faster and more connected than ever.
They are learning from their friends, social media, family and the communities around them.
And sometimes, the strongest influence is not the person with the best advice, it is the ones they spend time with.

That is why a healthy teen community matters.
A place they can discover themselves, ask questions, learn from people ahead of them and realise that the world is bigger than what they are exposed to.

This is why at Rejoice Shammah Initiative,
We do not want to organise activities for teenagers and leave,
We want to intentionally build a community around them.

A community that gives them opportunities to learn.
A community that exposes them to possibilities.
A community that encourages healthy friendships.
A community that develops their confidence and skills.
A community that notices when something is not right with any of them.

As we step into this month, we remain committed to walking alongside teenagers, creating safe spaces for honest, life changing conversations and mentorship where no teenager has to navigate life's defining years alone.
