22-yr-old Health worker ends it all, hours after her boyfriend pa§§ed away in Adamawa

A 22-year-old female health worker, identified as Florence Vandi, has ended it all in the Viniklang community in the Girei LGA of Adamawa State.

Florence, who was attached to Girei Primary Health Care Centre, ended it all by con§¥ming a poi§%nous substance on Tuesday, December 12, 2023.

The PPRO Adamawa State Police Command, SP Suleiman Yahaya Nguroje, in a statement said: “The deceased took the unfortunate decision few hours after the d£ath of her boyfriend, Nuhu Boniface, who di£d while receiving treatment at the hospital.”

The political crisis in Rivers State deepened this morning, Wednesday as about 10 bulldozers drove into the premises of the state House of Assembly and started the demolition of the complex.

This came as the factional Speaker, Edison Ehie, led other lawmakers loyal to the governor to hold a sitting early on Wednesday before the demolition began.

The demolition is being done under tight security.
