Theme: _“Strengthening Government Leadership, Locally Driven and Accountable Humanitarian Architecture.”

The conversation centered on building a more inclusive, accountable, and government-led humanitarian system where local actors play a central role in planning and delivery.

Today Zadchlo International Foundation alongside other MDAs at the Ministry of Health unveiled World breastfeeding week.

Breastfeeding is one of the most effective ways to ensure child health and survival and yet currently, fewer than half of infants under 6 months old are exclusively breastfed.

The 2026 theme for the World Breastfeeding Week is "Breastfeeding for a sustainable start in life: strengthen what works," focuses on tracking progress, evaluating impact, and scaling proven approaches that improve breastfeeding outcomes. It calls on governments, health systems, workplaces, communities, civil society organizations, and families to build on successful experiences and strengthen the "Warm Chain of Support" for breastfeeding.

The Plateau State Ministry of Health in Collaboration with MDAs, Partners & CSOs commemorates World Hepatitis 2026 wiith the Thene "Let's Break It Down”, emphasizing the urgent need to remove social, financial, and systemic barriers to care.

Zadchlo among other CSOs Join the global fight against hepatitis. We raise awareness, take action, and help eliminate hepatitis worldwide

World Hepatitis Day is observed every year on 28 July to raise global awareness about viral hepatitis and the urgent need to prevent, diagnose, and treat the condition.
